Last Day to Register to Vote or to Change Party Affiliation!
Event Description:
TODAY, Monday, July 26 is the last day to register to vote before the primary. It's also the last day to change or declare your party. The easiest way to check your status is to go to http://election.dos.state.fl.us/SOE/supervisor_elections.shtml, click on your county, and CALL your Supervisor of Elections TODAY! While you are on the phone with your SoE, request a Vote By Mail Ballot, too. (These used to be called absentee ballots, but you no longer need to be absent to vote from home.) This year's elections have especially long and complex ballots. Make sure you have the time to vote thoughtfully: request your mail-back ballot now. You can sign up for a full cycle of elections with one call -- and sign up one other person, too. Call today!
